There’s nothing quite like panic than the morning you have a big meeting and you oversleep. It can throw your entire day off. Worse, you have to come up with a hairstyle for when you’re running late to work. These hairstyles should give you some inspiration and help you to make it through your day in spite of the rough start.
Twisted Bun
Run a brush through your hair and twist it up into a twisted bun. Use either hair pins or an alligator style clip and you’re done.
For a touch of style or class, you can pull a whisp or two out to frame your face. If you have some glitter hairspray give it a quick spritz and you’re good for the day.
Pony Tail
Gather your hair and put it in a ponytail. Use either a pretty ponytail holder or a classic ponytail band.
For some added drama you can do this at the nape of your neck or up higher on the head. Twist a strand of hair over the ponytail holder and pin into place with a hair pin.
Pony Tail Bun
Pull hair into a ponytail as above except twist the length of the hair and wrap it around the ponytail. Pin with a few hair pins and you’re done.
Add a spritz of glitter spray and pull a few strands around the face to soften the look.
“Bed Head”
Perhaps the easiest look to pull off. Turn your head upside down and tousle your hair with your fingers. Turn your head back the right way and finger comb your hair so that it looks a bit more presentable.
Don’t stress over it at all. Allow it to look tousled and spray a few areas into place. You might want to use a hair pin or a few clips to keep some of it tamed.
Headband Or Scarf
There are a wide array of headbands on the market today. Collect a few for emergencies. Be sure that you have some that are soft and some that are firm. Consider a headscarf or bandana style headband or wrap it around the head gypsy style.
Your hair will look great and if your scarf or headband is patterned or intriguing, everyone will be so busy looking at the scarf or headband that they won’t realize you’re having a bad hair day.
Side Twists
Brush hair and gather into two sections either side of the head. Gently twist each side up separately and secure in the back with a pretty barrette or hair clip.
Do this on both sides and then pull a few tendrils out to frame the face. Your hair will look sophisticated and it’s super quick and easy to get this look.
These great looks can get you out the door in five minutes or less on those days when you’re running late to work and need a quick hairstyle. Go for intrigue and unique patterns to create a more dramatic look.
