If you have long hair you have an advantage over shorter haircuts. You can gather your hair into a variety of unique pony tail styles with minimal effort. Here are some of our favorites.
Classy Pony Tail
Gather hair at the nape of the neck and pull it into a pony tail. Tie a classy scarf around the pony tail if desired for more depth. Loosen a few tendrils around the face to soften the look.
Twisted Classy Look
Twist the sides of the hair on either side of the head and gather into a pony tail at the nape of the neck. Secure with a pony tail holder and loosen a few tendrils around the face to soften the look.
High And Classy
Pull hair back from forehead and gather into a high pony tail. Secure with a pony tail holder and either leave as is or pull hair up into the holder to create a bun type appearance. Loosen a few tendrils to soften the look.
Mid-High Look
Gather hair into a pony tail but leave one small section out. After securing the hair into the pony tail holder take the small section that was left out and wrap it around the pony tail holder.
Secure with a hair pin or two. This gives the appearance that the hair is all that is keeping the pony tail in place.
Three Tiered Pony Tail
Gather a section of the hair at the top of the head and place it into a pony tail holder. Section the middle of the head into a pony tail leaving the lower section alone.
Section the last portion into a pony tail and secure with another pony tail holder. Now gently twist the top section of the pony tail into the midsection and then gently twist the top two sections into the bottom section by pulling them through one another. It may take a few minutes to practice this look but once you’ve achieved it, you’ll be a pro.
Braided
Loosely braid the hair into a pony tail. Secure with a pony tail holder. Allow the braid to be very loose and gentle flowing. This lends a carefree yet completed hair style.
Sleek
This style is ideal for thinner hair or hair that insists on being stick straight. Simply sleek the hair back (use hair gel if required) and pull into a pony tail. Pony tail can be at nape of neck, at mid section of the head or higher to the crown of the head.
